Traditional saunas use high heat to induce deep sweating, helping flush out toxins, heavy metals, and impurities from the body.
The intense heat boosts heart rate and blood flow, mimicking the effects of light cardio and supporting heart health and circulation.
The high temperatures soothe sore muscles, reduce stiffness, and relieve joint pain—ideal for post-workout recovery and arthritis relief.
Traditional saunas help lower cortisol levels, enhance mood, and promote relaxation, reducing stress and mental fatigue.
A traditional sauna session can burn up to 300–600 calories per session by increasing heart rate and metabolism.
The heat opens pores and increases blood circulation, promoting clearer, more radiant skin while helping with acne and eczema.
Regular sauna use promotes deeper, more restful sleep by relaxing the body and lowering stress hormones like cortisol.
The heat exposure creates a mild artificial fever, triggering immune system activation and increasing white blood cell production.
Steam from water poured over sauna rocks can help clear sinuses, open airways, and improve respiratory function—great for those with asthma or congestion.
Heat therapy increases joint flexibility, reduces stiffness, and is beneficial for those with arthritis, tendonitis, or chronic pain.
High-performance electric or wood-fired heaters generate temperatures up to 90-100°C for a deep, penetrating heat.
Easily adjust heat settings via a digital control panel or manual adjustments.
Crafted from Western Red Cedar or Thermo-Treated Hemlock, known for durability and resistance to warping.
Choose from clear or tinted glass for a stylish, open-air feel without compromising heat retention.
Comfortable bench seating with optional backrests, designed for ultimate relaxation.
Pour water over heated sauna stones to create steam and increase humidity for a deeper sweat session.
Soft, customizable LED mood lighting enhances relaxation.
Designed to maintain fresh airflow, preventing overheating and improving breathability.
High-grade thermal insulation minimizes heat loss, keeping your sauna efficient.

Heat-up times depend on the type of sauna and the outside temperature. For Traditional Saunas, expect a heat-up time of 45–60 minutes to reach 80–90°C in average weather (15–25°C). In cooler outdoor temperatures (5–15°C), it may take 60–90 minutes to reach those same temperatures. Infrared (IR) heating is faster, typically reaching 45–55°C within 15–25 minutes.
To maintain your warranty and ensure safety, all electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician.
You can use fresh, clean water on the rocks in traditional or hybrid models using the provided wooden ladle, pouring only 1–2 small scoops at a time. However, you must never add oils, fragrances, herbs, or salts into the heater, as these can damage the unit.
Timber: Expect natural changes like grain variations or knots. You should re-oil the timber every 6–12 months to keep it protected.
Glass: Use a standard glass cleaner, but apply it to a cloth first rather than spraying it directly onto the wood.
Hygiene: Always sit on a clean towel during your session to protect the wood from sweat and body oils.
Yes, it depends on your goals:
Beginner: 60–75°C for 10–15 minutes.
Sleep: 65–75°C for 15 minutes, taken 60–90 minutes before bed.
Recovery: 70–80°C for 15 minutes, optionally followed by cold therapy.
Yes, Stryke saunas are compatible with the Smart Life app (available on the App Store) via a 2.4GHz WiFi connection if your sauna includes the WiFi option. This allows you to manage the sauna’s interface, including temperature and session timing, directly from your smartphone.
“The Stryke Recovery ice bath has been a game-changer for my wellness routine!”
“I feel refreshed and envigorated after every ice bath. The best part, it’s easy to use – no more bags of ice. The product quality and service from Scott at Stryke was amazing. I wish I had done it sooner.”
“Great quality. Great service.”
“Loving our outdoor sauna. The red cedar smell is amazing, I’ve even talked Phil into using the sauna. As a nurse on my feet all day, it helps me relax every day after work. Scott was able to custom-build this to fit our outdoor pool area – we now have a true wellness centre in our backyard.”
